IMEC & 'The Israeli Silk Road': A Productivist Regional Peace & Prosperity Proposal

I don't believe we can break current Middle East impasses or the public fever around them without first developing a comprehensive long-term plan that we can push both relentlessly and positively in response to every expression of pure negativity.

In this spirit and as a first pass, here is what I tend to think will have to be the full three-part 'full court press' of the coming months. Crucially, I think that ALL THREE PLANKS must be pursued both (a) SIMULTANEOUSLY and (b) RIGHT NOW, 'WITH ALL DELIBERATE SPEED.'

But I defer to actual experts if this 'vision' is defective in whole or in part...

Full Middle-East / Southwest-Asia Regional Plan:

1) A SERIOUS blueprint, including 'roadmap,' for non-anti-Jewish-bigoted, neighborly Palestinian self-determination.  My guess is that some form of clan-based emirates structure, which emirates might then ultimately join the UAE, will be most workable for the present. (Tighter unity, if desired, might come later.) For only those Arab states that honor orgsnizational culture and pre-Westphalian clan loyalties seem to avoid the 'failed state' fate. Some influential Palestinians are already proposing versions of this idea, which perhaps affords some provisional hope. Ditto the receptivity of existing regional emirates. Will link in the Comments below.

2) A full, expeditious completion of the Abraham Accords, WITH LINK-UP to IMEC (India-MiddleEast-Europe Corridor) as ultimate aim. This is essentially a Middle East / West & South Asian rendition of the National Reconstruction and Continuous Development plan that I made into productivist legislation that Rep. Khanna and Sen. Rubio then formally proposed in Congress at the end of 2022. (It will also present either an alternative or a cooperative complement, depending on other geopolitical factors, to China's 'Belt & Road' megaproject.) I've written a fair bit about this and will link again accordingly in the Comments below.

3) Finally, ultimate full regime-change in Iran, even to the point of Persian restoration if possible, which like removing Virgil Solazzo from the chessboard in 'The Godfather' is, as Michael Corleone there puts it, 'the key.' OF COURSE not as TRUMP does it, Trump being too venal and syphilitic to carry off anything properly - as I have written and noted here regularly in connection with, among other things, his oafishly and incoherently botched TARIFF and broader INDUSTRIAL policy. But make no mistake - the IRGC is behind literally EVERY failure in the Palestinian AND LEBANESE peace processes since the 1980s. EXPLODING that process is PRECISELY what the IRGC ESTABLISHED hezbo and hamas to do in the first place, and they have thus far succeeded. (Even 10/7 seems largely to have been motivated by the aim of upending the Abraham Accords just before Saudi - a lynchpin - was set to join.) Friends know that I do not crave international intrigue or feel 'comfortable' with interference, and know that I consider Trump in particular a catastrophic bungler. But in SOME way this will HAVE to be done or at least seriously aided; and since it is the IRGC that has been doing the relevant peace-destructive interfering here all along, what I propose is less interfering than counter-interfering. No Middle East peace will be otherwise possible, imho, and it is better to face this fact squarely than to keep limply dodging it. (THERE's your 'forever war.')

And that's it! That is my first pass at crafting a comprehensive plan that productive and productivist people can push and push relentlessly.

And again, it is THE regional COUNTERPART of ALL the productivist DOMESTIC policy planning that I and others - including Khanna and Rubio in collaboration - have done over the years.
